When Anant Ambani revealed having a positive mind amid his health criticism
A few days back, Anant completed his padyatra from Jamnagar to Dwarkadish temple. He walked for around 170 km and did the same due to his spiritual beliefs. Despite having health issues, Anant once, in an old interview with India Today, shared how he developed a positive mind amid receiving critical comments about his health. He credited his parents- Mukesh and Nita Ambani and shared:
“Mere mataji aur pitaji ne kabhi mujhe yeh bhi feel hone nai dia ki mei thoda bhi beemar hu. Aur jaisa aap bol rahe thei aaju baju wale joh bolte hai unse mujhe kuch lena dena nai hai. Kyuki bolne wale ka kaam hai bolna aur unko bhi, hame bhi yaha jeena hai. Hum sab haath jodhkar jeeye.”
Nita, earlier at the Harward India Conference, had already shared about Anant’s fight with obesity his full life. She shared how, from a very early age, the young scion fought obesity, which worsened with his asthma issues. He had to use steroids which led to weight gain and a rise in hunger that also affected his metabolic system. Nita was proud that her son overcame all the challenges with incredible confidence and fought obesity throughout his life, yet he has been so positive.
When Anant Ambani lost 108 kg before his 21st birthday
It was in 2014 when Anant started his weight loss journey, losing 109 kg with the help of Vinod Channa, his former coach and now a celebrity trainer. Anant went on a zero-sugar diet that included high protein, low carb foods like vegetables, fruits, and pulses and also reduced his calorie intake by 1200 every day. Anant used to do low-intensity workouts and 30-minute walking, which was then increased to a 21 km walk with yoga and weight training five hours daily, as shared by the South China Moring Post. Vinod in an interview with Times Now also revealed:
“Start by reducing your daily food intake by half and observe the positive changes. Next, add a 20-30 minute daily walk to your routine. As you progress, consider cutting down from four meals a day to three. Once you reach your desired goal, gradually reintroduce healthy carbs, proteins, and fibres. Don’t forget to include workouts to maintain your weight loss journey.”

Nita Ambani had also shared that whatever Anant ate, she ate and if he went for a walk she would also go with him. He was her main motivation and the reason behind her fit health too.
