Adding fuel to the rumours, taking her Instagram handle, RJ Mahvash made a post cheering for Yuzvendra Chahal and his team, Punjab Kings, for the ongoing IPL match. She also shared a selfie with him on the next slide of her post.

During the IPL match between Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings, RJ Mahvash took to her Instagram and beautifully captioned the post while cheering for rumoured-boyfriend, Yuzvendra Chahal and his team. There were photos of her holding the Punjab Kings’ flag, and one of the photos featured both RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra Chahal. Tagging the bowler, she wrote:
“One for supporting your people through thick and thin and standing behind them like a rock! We are all here for you”
Yuzvendra called Mahvash his ‘spine’ in reply to her post
Several times, Mahvash was seen cheering for Yuzvendra. During the IPL match between Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings, Mahvash was seen cheering for Yuzvendra and his team. In one video, she called Punjab Kings as ‘stars’ and captioned it as “Go Punjab! You win or you lose. You’re stars. Doesn’t matter. Go team.” In reply to Mahvash’s recent post on Instagram, Yuzvendra Chahal commented:
“You guys are my spine! Thank you for making me stand tall always.”

In December 2024, RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra Chahal made the headlines for their dating rumours. At the same time, there were speculations of Yuzvendra Chahal getting divorced from his ex-wife, Dhanashree Verma. The duo, RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra, were spotted together for the first time during the 2024 Christmas celebration. The rumoured couple was again spotted in Dubai, during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This time, their dating rumour became the talk of town.

On December 22, 2020, Yuzvendra Chahal tied the knot with Dhanashree Verma in Gurgaon. Earlier, in August 2020, the couple had their engagement ceremony. The two fell in love with each other when Yuzvendra joined Dhanashree’s dance classes during the COVID-19 lockdown. But on February 20, 2025, the star couple got legally divorced, citing compatibility issues. As per reports, they lived separately for 18 months before getting officially divorced.

Yuzvendra was once spotted with a mystery girl. Soon, the fans recognised her and she was none other than RJ Mahvash. Since last year, there were dating buzz revolving around the duo. Addressing the dating rumour between RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra Chahal, Mahvash once released a statement through her social media handle. She wrote:
“Some articles and speculations have been circulating around the Internet. It’s literally funny to see how baseless these rumours are. If you get seen with a person of the opposite gender, does that mean you are dating them? I’m sorry, what year is this? And how many people are you all dating then?”
