Adnan Sami has been one of the top singers in the Indian music domain. He was born on August 15, 1971 in UK. His dad, Arshad Sami Khan was a Pakistani while his mom, Naureen Khan an Indian. Adnan’s music has surpassed all cultural boundaries and has given him global fans. His notable songs include Kabhi To Nazar Milao, Tera Chehra, and Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein, which can nurse your heartbreak. However, Adnan lately did not seem to be in a good mood as he slammed Lucky: No Time For Love movie directors for giving wrong facts on his debut composition.
Adnan Sami slams the directors of Lucky: No Time for Love for giving wrong information about his music composition
For the unversed, it was in 2005 when Salman Khan, Sneha Ullal and Mithun Chakraborty’s film, Lucky: No Time For Love was released, and on April 9, 2025, the film completed 20 years. The directors of the movie, Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru celebrated the movie’s success with some bts shots along with trivia. Adnan Sami got angry as the video showed an old snap of an obese Adnan with Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik and in the caption, it was written about Adnan being introduced as the music composer of the song, Sun Zara, whose dubbing version was completed. Adnan got angry, reposted the video and wrote:
“What nonsense!! You never introduced me for the first time as a composer in a film as claimed by you in this video posted by you in @sapruandrao & neither was this my first film as a composer! My first film as a Music composer was ‘SARGAM’ in 1995. My second film as a Music composer was ‘Yeh Raaste Hain Pyar Ke’ in 2001!! So get your facts right.
An angry Adnan then told the directors that it was their first time and to be clear that the music was a z-hit because of his music compositions and Sameer’s lyrics along with the incredible performances of all the singers who shared their respective geniuses to the soundtrack!! The music was green-lit and brilliantly marketed by Bhushan Kumar and T-Series.
When Adnan Sami shared music has been his psychiatrist
Adnan, earlier in an interview with the Times Of India shared that he has had two failed marriages and sometimes, due to such disappointments, one can become cynical and bitter. But he has never been bitter about love. He is an incurable romantic and a big believer in love. His music has kept him sane every time. In his words:
“Music was my psychiatrist, my go-to place. When it comes to marriage, I had my parents as role models. Even today, my mother is as much in love with my father (who has passed away), if not more. I was yearning for that kind of love and that’s why I didn’t give up.”

What do you think of Adnan Sami’s revelation on the wrong facts given by the directors of Lucky: No Time for Love?
