Good Bad Ugly aims for a massive opening at the box office
Ajit Kumar starrer Good Bad Ugly had already mesmerised Tamil Nadu with its trailer alone, and the film’s release has turned it into a feast for the actor’s fans. With the promise to offer the experience of a lifetime, there is no denying that the audience has extremely high hopes for the film. Good Bad Ugly features a no-holds-barred Ajith Kumar at the centre of the film, and his fans are ready to show their love for the actor at the box office as well.
Ajith Kumar faced a fallback with his last release, Vidaamuyarchi, which failed to perform well at the box office despite receiving good reviews. However, now his fans are set on ensuring that Good Bad Ugly turns into a massive hit. Nonetheless, what is further interesting is that the maker had opted for early morning screenings of the film, with the first show of the day being held between 8 am and 9 am on April 10, 2025.
Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly aims for grand opening with strong pre-sales
The Ajith Kumar starrer started strong with a gross collection of Rs. 15 crore in pre-sales in Tamil Nadu alone. As the early reviews have started coming in, a report from industry collection tracker, Sacnilk revealed that the collection was nearing a massy Rs. 18 crore mark in India for its first-day collection.

Talking about the weekend contribution, the film is expected to earn a gross of around Rs. 35 crores, with Rs. 28 crores being from the actor’s home state alone. According to the reports, the final pre-sales will put Good Bad Ugly on route to finish in the top three with a predicted Rs. 30 crores plus a four-day opening weekend. This speaks volumes for the film, as only a few films have been able to cross the 30 crore mark in the state.

“A mass-loaded fan feast with vintage #Ajith vibes, but weighed down by a thin plot and a draggy second half. Highlights: Mass Loaded. Ajith in Beast Mode. Vintage Swag. Electrifying Moments. Solid First Half. Stylish Production. Cons: Plotless Punches. Emotionless Core. Dragged Drama. Second-Half Slump.”
