Taking to her IG handle, Manisha Rani showed a Bhojpuri music video, Drum Mein Raja, which was made on the serious topic of Meerut murder, where the ex-navy officer’s wife used a blue drum to hide his dead body. Manisha questioned how someone could be this insensitive to make funny videos on such a serious case that has shocked the entire nation.
Manisha Rani said that people should be ashamed of what they are doing only to grab likes and views. She further questioned if they thought about the deceased’s mom while making this type of video and what she would be feeling after seeing that her dead son has become a topic of memes now. Manisha further pleaded with people not to support such content and asked the government to ban such IDs that lack minimum sense while making meme content on such a brutal topic.
What happened in Meerut murder case?
Ex-Navy officer, Saurabh Rajput was brutally killed by his wife, Muskan Rastogi, and her lover, Sahil. Saurabh and Muskan had a love marriage, and their families never approved of their relationship, thus, they, eloped and tied the knot. They also had a six-year-old baby girl. After their wedding, Saurabh left his job as he wanted to spend more time with his family. That was when his relationship with Muskan deteriorated, and she became close to his friend, Sahil.
Well, Saurabh got a job offer in London and took the same to support his family. Reportedly, he knew about Muskan and Sahil’s affair, and was considering divorce. He came back to India to celebrate his daughter and wife’s birthdays. Muskan and her lover, Sahil, in the meantime, planned his murder. They spiked his food and stabbed him in his heart thrice. After the same, the duo killed Saurabh, so brutally that it left everyone in shock. Well, Sahil and Muskan were taken under judicial custody and a recent report revealed that the latter was found pregnant in the jail.
