Mayawati is one of the most prominent political figures in Indian politics. The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is the first CM in UP’s history to complete five years back in 2012. However, the BSP chief is in the headlines at the moment, but due to some unfortunate reports. For the uninitiated, Mayawati’s niece, Alice, has filed a police complaint against her husband, Vishal Singh, who is the son of Hapur Municipal Council Chairperson Pushpa Devi.

According to several media reports, Mayawati’s niece, Alice, filed an FIR against her husband, Vishal Singh and made some ground-breaking allegations against him. She has mentioned the names of nine people, including her husband, in-laws, and others. The dowry case has been filed in Hapur’s local court of Chief Judicial Magistrate.
Coming to the allegations, Alice accused her husband of pressuring her for abusing her mentally and physically. Mayawati’s niece also mentioned that her in-laws demanded Rs. 50 lakh and a brand new flat in Ghaziabad. Not only this, as per Alice’s complaint, Vishal Singh persuaded her to ask her aunt, Mayawati, for the party ticket.
Further, in the same complaint, Alice also mentioned that on February 17, 2025, Vishal Singh’s father and brother attempted to assault her sexually after she refused to fulfil their demands for dowry. Alice’s in-laws and other family members, including her husband, Vishal, warned her not to tell anyone about it; otherwise, they would file a defamation suit against her. She said:
“Despite raising an alarm, they dragged her back inside and threatened to destroy her and her family’s reputation if their dowry demands were not met.”

Apart from the mention of dowry, domestic violence, and much more, there’s another major revelation in Alice’s complaint, and it is related to her husband, Vishal Singh. According to several reports, Mayawati’s niece also mentioned in her FIR that her husband is impotent. She further shared that due to the excessive use of steroids, Vishal became impotent. Another shocking accusation that she made against Vishal and his family is that they forced her to conceive a child through her brother-in-law. The ground-breaking accusations have taken the internet by storm.
On Alice’s complaint, an FIR has been lodged against Vishal Singh and his eight family members. Severe sections like 85, 115(2), 352, 351(2), 74,75,76, 3 and 4 of BNS have been put on all the members. In a public statement, SP Gyananjay Singh told everyone that the police had started the probe. He added that a huge action would be taken against the accused because the matter was too serious. For the uninitiated, Alice got married to Vishal Singh on November 9, 2023, at Delhi’s Hyatt Hotel.
