Brit Eady finally opened up about the gun comment she made towards Kenya Moore during a heated moment on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
During Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Andy asked her straight up if she ever brought a gun to set.
“I never had a gun in my possession at all,” she said.
Andy revealed that her comments triggered an actual investigation.

“Obviously weapons are not allowed on set,” he said. “It was looked into and determined you didn’t violate that policy.”
He asked, “Why did you say it, and what do you think about it now?”
Brit didn’t dodge the question at all, “I still beat myself up… just the fact that I allowed her to trigger me,” she said. “There’s no excuse for what I did. What I said. It was in the heat of the moment.”
She explained how being in a rough neighborhood without her usual support from her husband, had her on edge. “I felt attacked and I was triggered by Kenya,” Brit admitted.
She also broke down what actually happened, adding that the gun comment wasn’t during a group scene. It was a quick side convo with castmate Kelly.
“I mentioned a pistol and I never should’ve. I was wrong,” she said.
The comment was reckless, and Brit knows it. But she didn’t try to sugarcoat it or blame it on editing. She owned up to saying something out of line, and it sounds like the regret is real.
Meanwhile, Kenya Moore won’t be returning for the rest of the season.
