Nisha Rawal is a well-known television actress who rose to fame in the role of ‘Soumya Diwan’ in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki. She was last seen on the reality show, Lock Upp, which was hosted by none other than the star actress, Kangana Ranaut. On the personal front, the actress shares a seven-year-old son, Kavish, with the actor, Karan Mehra. Recently, Nisha faced severe backlash for a video with her son, and now the actress has reacted to the same.
Nisha Rawal claps back at trolls for insensitive comments
Nisha Rawal has clapped back at the trolls for a video which also features her seven-year-old son, Kavish. The video, which circulated on the internet in March 2025, showed Kavish touching his mother, Nisha’s chest, as they posed for an event in Mumbai. The actress donned a hot pink anarkali for the event. At the same time, her son wore a blue kurta pyjama. The video featured Kavish touching and attempting to bite his mother, which resulted in a controversial row online.
However, on April 13, 2025, Nisha Rawal attended another event, where she was asked about her views on the incident and the reaction it got. In a video shared by Instant Bollywood, the actress angrily refused to pay heed to the incident, stating that those targeting the moment should be ashamed of themselves. The actress added that those who saw an innocent interaction between a mother and her son like that should be ashamed of themselves. She concluded by stating:
“Sharam aani chahiye un logon ko jo ek maa-bete ke relationship ko uss nazariye se dekhte hain. Yeh khot unke mann mein hai, so no more comments on that. Uss baare mein kya hi bol sakte hai?”

The internet was once again left divided on the comment. A user penned, “Have some shame and teach your son how to behave in public, he is not a toddler and will behave same in school with other girls also.” Another wrote, “Bachhe ko educate b toh karenge..Ya sirf logo ko dosh denge.” A comment read, “Log he pagal ha jo inhein dekhty hain aur viral karte hai, pagal log.” Another commenter said, “Khudko sharam nhi aani chhiye??” A user stated, “Bachay ko manners sikhao na.”

While some users also defended Nisha. A user penned, “Bache to bache hote hai yr…..beta hai wo uska…wo konsa 30 saal ka ho gya jo ese keh rhe hai log use.” Another penned, “Ohh my god, people’s mentality … come on, he is just a kid.” A comment read, “Plss yrr..maa bete ke relation ko toh mat badnam karo…” A commenter said, “Maa hai wo.” A user stated, “Exactly! You are right, Maa.”
