7. 3 UP Bar Council booked for main murder
A day after the horrific murder of Uttar Pradesh Bar Council (UPBC) President Darvesh Yadav, security was tightened in the Agra Civil Court premises, even Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav met the family members of the victim in Etah and demanded compensation of Rs 50 lakh from the government.
Condemning the incident, the President of the Samajwadi Party demanded an inquiry by a sitting judge of the High Court.
Akhilesh Yadav said, “The trust of the common man in the state government is lost due to crimes after elections in the state. We are preparing a list of crimes and will hand it over to the Governor, who is silent on the deteriorating law and order situation,” Akhilesh Yadav said.

8. The man kills his friend on a loan, leaves him in the car to die
A 36-year-old hardware engineer, a retired Delhi Police sub-inspector’s son, allegedly attacked his friend for not returning Rs 1 lakh, borrowed him and locked him in his car on 6 June. When his friend suffocated, he dumped the body behind the Red Fort the next day. He was arrested on Wednesday evening.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Harendra Singh confirmed the incident, but refused to divide further details as an investigation.
According to the police, the accused, Ajay Singh Raghav, lives in the shank of North East Delhi and works for a private company in Patampura.
