For eight movies across a decade, audiences watched Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as Harry, Ron and Hermione in the beloved Harry Potter film franchise.
Then, back in April 2023, HBO announced it would be making a brand new TV adaptation of J.K Rowling’s wildly successful fantasy series with a new cast.
The series is set to premiere in 2026.
Now, two years on from the news, we have the first official casting announcement.
