sky force This then leads into an extended flashback to the 1960s, where Ahuja trains his squadron to expertly commandeer Meister IVA fighter-bombers, while explaining that the rival’s F is superior in aircraft manufacturing and technology. It was inferior to the -104 Starfighter, a supersonic interceptor with high speed. Mystere was not able.
“You don’t fight a plane,” Ahuja tells his men, “you fight the man inside him.” In a dog fight sequence, as can be expected from the film, one man comes forward – code named ‘Tabby’ – pilot T Vijaya (Veer Paharia), who is in many ways the focus of the film. Vijaya is confident but disobeys orders and yet, everyone agrees, she is incredibly skilled.
This is a film that lacks realism (due to the theatricality of both characters and scenes) but not grandeur. The fight scenes are impeccable – the fast-moving fighter jets create a gorgeous figure in the sky. These daring stunts and acts of courage make up most of the first half of the film but two things help the film – technical execution (including the absence of mind-boggling jargon) and smart pacing (due to a sharp editing).
