But here is a mind-making question: what if President Donald Trump is the most mavric and careless manner of the Oval Office in the history of America, just chooses to say “No Mr. Chief Justice, Fu#@ What do you want, I am not going to fulfill your orders. Go a hike, sir”.
It will be a terrible constitutional breakdown, and there are very few clues how it can uproot from there. A possible playbook can be as follows:
Since Potus cannot be arrested in the office, Scots may convince the Attorney General or White House counsel for disregarding the court orders.
Theoretically, Potus can release a quick apology for its guilty officers. And if the court repeats its sentence, the Trump can issue forgiveness one after the other to thwart the court.
· If Scots sees these repeated forgiveness as misuse of priority rights, judges can use “inherent contempt” powers to punish the authorities for “non-criminal offenses”; Civil crime cannot be forgiven
· There is an auxiliary crack in American laws – the President can only forgive a federal crime, but cannot catch prosecution initiated by any state. Nevertheless, strong democratic states such as New York and California can criminally accused federal officials, forcing them to follow their anger or face them. With extremely broad powers, Trump will be helpless to stop it
· On the basis of provoking a rebellion against the Constitution, or a completely frightening sect will be scopted using the 14th amendment to disqualify Trump to order the army to implement his orders/forgiveness to Trump. Since domestic law enforcement agency is a clear bar to act in the US Army, the generals can be demarcated.
Just pray that everyone and everything decreases with the ultimate diastopia, which is the disintegration of the American Republic. It should never be allowed to be done.
