Ekta Kapoor is known as the queen of television, and she continues to remain an icon. In the early 2000s, she revolutionised the Indian television industry with her saas-bahu operas, which were somewhat the story of many Indian households. However, making those shows took immense hard work, and there are celebrities who share strange stories about working with Ekta. Last year, Ram Kapoor left Ekta Kapoor upset with her shocking revelation about one of her shows.
Ekta Kapoor took another dig at Ram Kapoor
It looks as if Ekta and Ram are having cold war, and the former’s recent post is all about it. Taking to her Instagram handle, Ekta dropped a video of herself, as she was seen asking people what she should opt for anti-inflammatory diet, Ozempicm Mounjaro or any other means to lose weight. However, in the end, she said:
“Ya chhod doon, hum bade hi acche lagte hain.”
Well, Ekta’s video came right after Ram Kapoor dismissed reports of him taking any medicinal drug to lose weight or speculations of opting for surgery. It seems Ekta took a direct dig at Ram and his weight loss. For the unversed, a while ago, Ram Kapoor shared a video on his Instagram handle, and clarified that even if he had done a surgery or taken Ozempic, there is nothing wrong. While flexing his muscle and showing off his biceps, Ram said:
“First of all, there’s nothing wrong if I did [Ozempic or surgery]. But now, in less than 30 seconds, I am going to prove to you that I have done nothing. This is where I am at, but I am still a work in progress.”

Ram Kapoor’s comment on Ekta Kapoor’s show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain‘s low TRP, left the producer upset
When Ram Kapoor appeared on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast, he shared details of his glorious career. However, during one segment, Ram claimed that Ekta Kapoor suffered the consequences when she introduced an intimate scene in the then-superhit show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, featuring Sakshi Tanwar.

Ram stated that he hesitated to perform the kissing scene with Sakshi for the show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Ram revealed that it was Ekta, who had written the scene, and wanted them to perform. However, he told her that the kissing scene has never happened in the history of Indian television. He said:
“Ekta’s the one who wrote the scene, wanted us to do the scene… I told Ekta, ‘Are you sure? Ye television mein pehle kabhi hua nahi hai, it was the first kiss of television, which is a big thing. And three generations watch (the show) together… but Ekta was very confident ki wo karna hai…. I said, okay, I’ll first get a go-ahead from my wife… Fir maine Sakshi ko bola ki look, I will handle Ekta, if you have a problem, tell me.”
Further, Ram revealed that Sakshi Tanwar’s father was okay with performing the kissing scene as they trusted him. Later, Ram said that Ekta Kapoor suffered the consequences that might have hurt her. Ram was quoted as saying:
“Sakshi’s father said the most amazing thing to me… I can never think of anything with my co-stars… Sakshi’s father called me and said ki ‘Ram, tu hai, toh sab theek hai.’ They trusted me… so we went ahead and did it… it took two nights… Ekta suffered the consequences later.”
