Teddi Mellencamp has briefly spoken about her divorce from Edwin Arroyave as he helps take care of her following her recent brain surgery.
The Real Housewives star revealed in an Instagram Story that her ex, who she was married to for 13 years, was driving her to an immunotherapy appointment.
Mellencamp, 43, recently had four tumours removed, and shared in an update that scans have showed she has “multiple tumours in her brain” and two in her lungs.

In an Instagram Story, Mellencamp and Arroyave are seen heading to her appointment and listening to music in the car as she calls him a ”pretty good divorce buddy”.
“Edwin has turned into a pretty good divorce buddy,” she captioned her clip.
“Such a douche lord at first but once your ex wife almost dies he saw the light,” she joked.
“I am funny. Not jealous and good at helping him pick my replacement.”

In November last year, Mellencamp released a statement on her Instagram revealing their divorce after they tied the knot back in 2011.
In her announcement post, she wrote: “After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce.”

“My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”
She said she only made a public statement “in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors”.

“I have felt being open, honest, and vulnerable is the best path forward,” she said.
Mellencamp was just dealt another health blow after having brain surgery to remove four tumours.
The star, who is the daughter of singer John Mellencamp, told fans after returning home from hospital that scans have showed she has “multiple tumours in her brain” and two in her lungs.
“The doctors are hopeful that immunotherapy and radiation will effectively treat them,” she said.
She added in part of her post: “Now, as @bravoandy would say: with all due… f–k off, cancer!”
