Metro Delhi will not be available so far on all Delhi subway lines, including the Airport Express line.
Delhi Subway News: The Delhi Metro Rail (DMRC) corporation has announced a subway terms for Holi 2025, which will be celebrated on March 14. It states that subway services on all lines will start at 14:30. The services will start at 2.30pm from the terminal stations along all lines and will continue, as usual, the message said. Ordinary services will begin after all the lines.
Train services will not be available on all Delhi subway lines, including the airport line, Holly on March 14 to 14.30, DMRC reports on Tuesday. “On the day of the Holly Festival, March 14, the Services subway will not be available until 14.30 on all Delhi subway lines, including at the airport expression,” DMRC said.
The temporary suspension of the Delhi subway service during Holly is an annual measure aimed at providing public safety and crowds management around festival events. However, this year the authorities have accepted a more peaceful approach, choosing not to violate the celebrations. On the usual days, the usual schedule sees subway services, starting at 5am and ends around 11 pm. Moreover, DMRC recently reached milestones with the completion of the tunnel work on the “Golden Line” project 4, connecting the Kisengarh and Vasanta Kunja station along the Tuglakabad-Damage Corridor.
