While his charms is usually unmissed, a recent video shows a humourous interaction between him and Nora Fatehi when she points out his extravagant dating history. The two crossed paths at the silver jubilee celebration of the IIFA Awards 2025.
Nora Fatehi takes a dig at Kartik Aaryan
The 25th anniversary celebration of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) was held between March 8 and 9, 2025. The grand evening showcased the arrival of several Bollywood stars, with Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan selected as the hosts for the event. Now, a video of Nora Fatehi taking a humorous dig at Kartik’s relationships in the industry has surfaced online.
The video circulating online shows Karan Johar offering Nora Fatehi a first-class ticket to London. To which Nora asked Karan if she was going with him. However, Karan corrected the actress and stated that he was talking about Kartik. The actor then interrupted and said, “You don’t have to go with either of us. We’ll give you a ticket, and you can go with anyone you want.”
The filmmaker, Karan Johar, further threw another condition in the mix and told Nora that she could go with EaseMyTrip if she told them who she thought was the perfect match for the Satyaprem Ki Katha actor, Kartik. However, Nora’s reply left Kartik blushing and clarifying to the audience that it was only a question, but the crowd erupted into cheers hearing Nora’s response. She was quoted as saying:
“Koi hai iss industry mein jisko aapne abhi tak date nahi kiya?”

The video soon surfaced on the discussion platform Reddit, which divided opinions among users. While some defended Kartik, others felt Nora’s response was on point. A user penned, “She ate and left no crumbs.” Another wrote, “Nora is funny lol.” Another comment read, “Everyone’s ex for a reason!!” A fan also commented, “Damn Nora.”
However, some even pointed out how the comment was a compliment to Kartik rather than a roast and stated, “Roasted nhi. It’s the biggest compliment to him to be perceived as a casanova.” Another added, “Oh, he’d be elated.” A comment read, “If I was him and all the nepo girls were after me, why would I dare them too… Js.”
Fans urge Kartik Aaryan to change his look
Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s untitled musical alongside Sreeleela. However, fans are not happy about his look in the film and even shared their dismay in the comment section of Nora’s dig at Kartik. A user stated, “In baalon k beech mein thoda thoda Karthik bhi hain.” Another penned, “Pehle iske baal kaato aadhe gunah maaf. Tell that basu to end this zombie hair schedule asap.” A user commented, “Kartik’s hair is making me manifest my mom’s energy when she says ‘Jao grooming karke aao’ yeh kya jhaua bana rakha hai.”
