Apoorva recently slammed an Instagram reel where the critic commented on her acting chops and sartorial picks. Apoorva also maintained a safe hand distance from the promotion of Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s film, Nadaaniyan, in which she played a great supporting role. An influencer named, Sufi Motiwala revealed how different Apoorva’s on-screen and off-screen wardrobe styling was. Apoorva made a notice of the same and made a sarcastic comment. She said:
“Got hated so hard that now even Sufi Motiwala doesn’t say hateful things about me.”
Apoorva’s comment came at a time when she got a lot of hate for making a crass comment on the famous India’s Latent Show. She had gone as a guest on the Samay Raina’s show with Ranveer and Ashish. Well, Ranveer had made a cheap parental remark comment, and Apoorva had also abused the body part of a woman, used cuss words and spoke derogatory remarks on intimacy. Apoorva even remained absent from the promotions of Nadaaniyan.

There were videos doing rounds from the India’s Latent Show where everyone on the internet was seen bashing Apoorva. She just did not have to face the wrath of the netizens. Even her comments section was filled with hate, and people had also slut shamed her. Despite facing the challenging ordeal, Apoorva didn’t directly open up about the controversy, but she kept her silence and slammed the critics by keeping her comments section off on social media. When she returned back on Instagram on March 13, 2025, she shared a cryptic message that read:
“Diwaaron ke bhi kaan hote hain. So thank you.”
It is interesting to note that Apoorva’s last text on her broadcast channel was on February 10, 2025. It was the same day when Ranveer had made a clip to apologise for the comments he had made on the controversial clip. Apoorva had reached the Khar police station on February 12, 2025, where she recorded her statement. In the video that went viral, Apoorva was seen hiding her face in public as the paps mobbed her. She looked irritated, was seen avoiding the media and went directly inside her car to reach the police station with her advocate after she was summoned. The investigation was being done deeply by the higher officials.
