A researcher of the Indian Institute for Science and Scientific Research (IISER) died after he was pushed to the ground after hot exchanges with a neighbor for parking in Mahali, police representatives said on Thursday.
The incident happened on Tuesday evening when Zawishak was standing on a motorcycle, and his neighbor Monti (26) objected to it.
A hot argument soon began, after which Monti allegedly pushed the Swarnok (39), and he fell on the road. Then Monti charges the researcher who is still on the ground but quickly distracted, the video footage of the incident reports.
The video shows that the scientist first stands with the help of those around, but again collapsed. Police said he was taken to the hospital where he was announced, brought dead.
The accused took the victim to the hospital, they added.
Police said Sawarzar was experiencing dialysis when he suffered from a kidney problem. He came from Jarkhand and stayed in the rented housing with his parents. He was a researcher at IISER, Mohali.
The police station was Mahai Phase 11 officer of the House of Representatives Gagandep Singh said the case in section 105 (punishment for guilty murder) Bharatia Nya Sanhit was registered against the accused.
Police said the defendants were running away and efforts were made to him.
