The Bureau of the US Department of Trade has reported that the Chinese Artificial Intelligence Model Deepseek is prohibited on their government devices, according to the message, which is considered to be acquainted with the issue.
“The Faculty of Trade Information Systems for help is a safe, new Chinese Ai Deepseek’s entry is widely banned on all GFE,” said one massive offices about their equipment.
“Don’t download, watch, access any application with Deepseek, desktop applications or sites.”
The trade department did not immediately respond to the comment request.
Reuters could not immediately determine the amount of ban in the US government.
Deepseek’s AI models have generated a large seller in global stock markets in January, as investors are concerned about the threat of the United States leadership in AI.
US officials and members of the Congress have expressed concern over Deepseek’s threat of data on sensitive information.
Congressmen Josh Josh Kosh Koghej and Darin Lahoud, members of the Permanent Choice Committee of the Chamber presented Deepseek on February, February. At the beginning of this month, they sent letters to the US governors, urging the Chinese AI program on the equipment issued by the government.
