Fans have been wondering how she could allow her young daughter, who has not even reached puberty, to remove her facial hair via later hair treatment, as the skin is tender and soft, just to avoid the bully.

For the unversed, Mahira Abdel Aziz is one of the stars of Netflix’s superhit series, Dubai Bling. Mahira recently shared a video, wherein her eight-year-old daughter was undergoing laser hair removal treatment, and her gentle skin was all red due to the laser burn. The video was widely shared on social media and sparked a lot of judgment and shock among netizens.
The internet users rushed to give their opinions on the matter. One user wrote, “So sad… she is still a child.” Another commented, “It is officially forbidden to use laser for people under 18 years old. This business is destroying health of kids and their whole future life.”
A third user pointed out how the mother didn’t teach her daughter to fight bullies and commented, “So she should teach her daughter to stand up to bullies. That’s the correct way to instill confidence in kids.” Another one wrote, “This child has not hit puberty, as a profession therapist and I’ve been treating patients for over a decade now, at this age LHR is pointless. But each to their own.”

The 45-year-old actress, Mahira, shared a video of her daughter, Yasma, getting her later hair removal treatment. The video has been going viral over social media platforms and garnered a lot of shock from the netizens. In the clip, Mahira revealed that her daughter came with her a strange request of getting her facial hair removed. However, initially, Mahira was sceptical, but she thought of asking the expert. She said:
“I was shocked when my eight year old daughter came to me with a streange request. She asked me to remove her facial hair. I was sceptical, so I thought about it and asked my doctor.”

Further in the video, Mahira showed her daughter going through the process of getting her facial hair removed from her upper lips. Her tender skin was red from the process, and one could notice she was scared of the laser. Mahira further revealed that she was also a hairy child, but her time was different. The actress revealed that they had to live with moustaches and unibrows till they were older or got married. She even faced bullying due to her hair. Mahira was quoted as saying:
“Was also hairy as a child. But our generation was different. We had to live with our moustache, the unibrow, and of course, we couldn’t remove it until we were older or sometimes even marriage. We were bullied for the amount of hair we had.”
