Shoaib Malik’s sister confirms that his family didn’t attend his nikah
As per a new media report, Shoaib Malik’s sisters opened up about their brother’s third marriage to Sana Javed. Pakistan Daily shared that Shoaib’s sisters didn’t attend the marriage and revealed some inside details about his separation from Sania Mirza. For those unaware, the star tennis player and her family have been silent behind the couple’s split. But Shoaib’s sister stated:
“Sania Mirza was tired of his affairs.”
The startling revealation left fans stunned. Moreover, the cricketer’s sister shared that their whole family decided not to attend the wedding, which has given rise to new theories about Shoaib and Sania’s divorce. Previously, when Shoaib announced this third marriage, Sania’s sister, Anam, took to her Instagram handle in January 2024 and confirmed that the tennis star took a khula, which is a procedure in Islamic law that allows a Muslim woman to initiate a divorce from her husband. Asking for privacy for their family, she penned:
“Sania had taken a khula from Shoaib Malik months ago. We wish him well for his new journey.”

I make sure to visit him twice a month in Dubai, and while I’m there, I personally drop him to school and pick him up. I have a very strong bond with him.
