A Florida woman already behind bars is facing fresh charges after police say she previously walked into a Dairy Queen, pulled a gun on employees—and only made off with $1.50 in loose change.
According to Coconut Creek authorities, 44-year-old Allison Fetting allegedly walked into the Winston Park Plaza Dairy Queen earlier this year, flashed a firearm, and demanded money. But when employees couldn’t get the register open, Fetting reportedly settled for whatever she could grab—just $1.50 from the restaurant’s tip jar.
No one was injured during the February incident, police confirmed. The robbery didn’t make headlines at the time, but Fetting was officially charged last Friday, March 21.
Fetting is no stranger to law enforcement. According to the Florida Department of Corrections, she’s already in custody on unrelated robbery and drug charges and previously served three years in state prison for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, grand theft, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
She’s currently awaiting a court hearing scheduled for March 26 in Broward County.
