The Indian railway caught about 2.16 crowns of passengers traveling without a ticket in 2023-24, and the sum of approximately 562.40, as excess fees were implemented on Wednesday.
Ashvinov’s Railway Minister Vaishnava said it was in a written answer, answering questions raised by some members about the number of passengers who came without a ticket for 2023-24 years and other related questions.
“During the 2023-24 years, approximately 2.16 crowns of passengers without Tickets on Indian Railways were discovered, and about 562.40 rupees were implemented from these passengers, since excessive charges (without travel) was implemented,” Vaishnava said, “said Vishnava.
At the request to provide data on state/stations without travelers, Vaishnava said it was not supported in this way.
“Special ticket checks from time to time are conducted by zonal railways, given the local conditions or in accordance with the instructions issued by the Railway Ministry,” he said.
“Ticket check and special ticket checks are a continuous and permanent exercise on Indian railways,” the minister added.
