India promotes its fifth -generation fighter program against China and Pakistan problems, focusing on independence.
5th-generation Reactive engine that will be developed by this company
India is making significant progress in the development of its fifth -generation fighters for India’s Air Force. This comes as a response to the growing military progress of China and Pakistan. China has already developed two fifth-generation fighters, J-20 and J-35, which are actively used by the military and have also been put to Pakistan. After the United States, China is the only country with two such advanced planes, increasing the pressure on India to strengthen its protection capabilities.
To reduce dependence on foreign fighters, India focuses on the production of indigenous residents. The main milestone in these efforts was the successful induction of the TEJAS jet fighter in the Indian Air Force. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (Hal), a state-owned company, together with the Defense Development Organization (DRDO), has also developed a modernized version-Tejas-MK1a. This aircraft is considered to be 4.5+ generative aircraft with advanced features and capabilities.
The Indian Air Force has already been ordered by 83 Tejas-Mk1a Jets from Hal. These planes will work on engines from the American company General Electric (GE). Hal placed an order on 99 GE engines and the first batch has already been delivered. This indicates that the TEJAS-MK1A planes will soon be transferred to the Air Force.
Meanwhile, India is also working on its own fifth -generation fighter aircraft within the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) program. The purpose is to develop a advanced aircraft 5+ generations by 2030. In order to speed up this ambitious project, the Indian government is involved in the private sector companies.
In addition, India develops its own engine for these advanced fighters. A study of gas turbine (GTRE) involving Aerospace Godrej is leading this effort. Godrej Aerospace previously worked on the Kaveri engine project and contributed to various military studies and development.
Behramakdin Manek, Vice President of the Godrej Aerospace, said the company has the experience needed for this important technological and production problem.
The Godrej family, known for its contributions to many industries, has been engaged in business for more than 125 years. Founded by Ardashir Godrey in 1897, the Godrej group works in various sectors, including real estate, consumer products, industrial engineering, security and agriculture. Currently, the group is headed by Odray and Nadir Nadir, an approximate family wealth of $ 20 billion.
Thanks to the combination of government, military and private sector, India is moving quickly to independence in the production of fighters, seeking to comply with the world leaders of defense technologies.
