Accepting a strong exception from the adoption of the WAQF bill in LOK SABHA, Chief Minister Tamil Nadu and MK President Stalin said on Thursday that his party would tell the case in the Supreme Court against the bill.
The CM, which came to the Assembly, putting on a black sign to protest against the adoption of the bill, said he took part in a correction at 2 o’clock in the morning of “at the freedom of several allies”, despite counteracting most parties in India, “is an attack on the structure of the Constitution.”
“This is an act that violates religious harmony. To emphasize this, we participate in modern procedures in black badges,” the chief minister said.
“I would like to inform you that the case will be initiated in the Supreme Court on behalf of Dravid Muniatra Kajagam (DMK) against this contradictory amendment. Tamil Nadu will fight the Law of the Trade Union, which destroys the Autonomy of the WaqF Council and threatens the population of the minority,” Stalin said.
He noted that on March 27, the State Assembly had already adopted the House of the resolution against the proposed amendment, as it would seriously affect the religious harmony of India, except for the Muslim minority community.
He said he was very convicted that the amendment to the WAQF law was adopted in Lok -Sabh, despite the vote of 232 MPs against it, and this is not the usual number, and the number may increase. He said only 288 members voted in favor.
