Electric vehicles (EV) 2.0 Policy Project, which will probably be announced soon by the Delhi government, recommends stopping CNG car, officials said on Monday.
According to the Policy 2.0 Policy EV Policy project, the CNG Aiarickshaw registration will not be allowed from August 15 this year. CNG AUTO permits will not be extended from August 15 this year, and all such permits will be replaced or republished only by the Electronic Auto resolution.
The policy project also recommends stopping vehicles with fossil fuels that carry solid waste deployed in large quantities by civilian bodies and urban buses.
All CNG Auto-Rickshaws over 10 will be replaced or redesigned to work on batteries during politics.
In a strong recommendation, the policy project is also that two Whelers running on gasoline, diesel, CNG is not allowed since August 15, 2026.
It is also recommended that no diesel, gasoline, CNG with three -wheeled registrations will be allowed in the case of August 15, 2025.
The POLICY EV Polic 2.0 project also provides for all the vehicles to collect debris owned by the Delhi municipal corporation, the New Delhi Municipal Council and the Delhi Jal Council to move to the electricity and reach the 100 percent electric fleet by December 31, 2027.
It also recommends public transport buses running DRC and Dimts to convert to electronic products. DTC and Dimts will only buy electrical buses for operations within the city and BS VI for interstate service with the start of politics.
In addition, the owners of private cars will have to buy electric cars only if they already have two cars. This recommendation will be effective after the EV 2.0 policy notification.
The policy project may change during the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers, especially in the recommendations related to two wheels, officials said.
The Delhi government has expanded its policy in modern electric cars (EV) 15 days after the end of March 31. This extension is expected to be final, as the new new policy project is almost complete, officials said.
The policy will be reported after its approval of the Delhi office. It seeks to improve the pollution situation in Delhi with a replacement of a large amount of car with fossil fuels aggressively, they added.
